Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
We really loved everything about the lodge ,it was clean had everything we needed was well equipped,we had the signature lodge as I'm a wheelchair user and it had a ramp access ,shower chair ,walk in shower ,the location was great not far from everything but was so peaceful and quiet ,beds really comfortable slept well ,the patio area and hot tub where lovely.
Quiet and peaceful but close to the Kenwick Hall so could eat there and use their facilities if needed. Also easy to get into the Wolds and to the main town of Louth.
The luxury room, four poster bed, the bathroom with a tv and romantic lights around it.
Very peaceful location.
Evening meal was fantastic, especially the beef
The lodge was very clean and nice location. Was very quiet, not busy at all. We were just adults so very suitable and peaceful place. Close to amenities by driving. Lovely place and lovely hot tub.
A little haven! Bramble Lodge is absolutely stunning. When Shelia opened the garden gate we both immediately said WOW! It is so quiet and peaceful. So much thought and care has gone into the garden, yurts and facilities. We wished we were staying longer and will absolutely be back!
Stayed there for the third time and had lovely quiet room overlooking garden. Very cosy, clean room with fluffy towels and clean white bed linen. I particularly like fact that it's so quiet and peaceful to get a good night sleep. Staff on reception very friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful property in a picturesque location, lots of open countryside, wildlife, quiet and calm. The coach house was very clean. comfortable and well equipped.
Lovely views from the windows, strolls in the grounds or walks further afield.
Jessica was lovely, there to help or give advice if needed. It was nice to bump into and chat with Dorothy, a local lady who looks after the pretty little church .
Beautiful and peaceful spot for a quiet time away, we loved that we could park up and unload just outside the lodge and the parking wasn't far away. Hot tub was a brilliant bonus, two bathrooms is always helpful and the beds and sofas were comfortable. Brilliant to be able to bring the dog away as well with lovely wedding venue type walking space with little bridge and pond around the back of the buildings. The food on site was delightful, definitely recommend picking something up and eating in or taking back to your lodge for dinner.
Wonderful breakfast prepared and cooked to order. Tim & Maggie the proprietors were so warm and friendly, it made us feel as if we were visiting family. Our room was very well decorated, very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic, quiet and peaceful in beautiful countryside, yet close to Cadwell Park racing circuit that was our primary reason for staying here.
