Kiltearn Guest House, country house in Evanton

Dating back to 1894 this imposing Victorian Country House is set in a beautiful location directly on the foreshore with views over the sea. All the bedrooms are designed in both modern and traditional styles with flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer.

Everything was ideal starting with the house manual and a curated list of recommendations for activities, attractions and places to eat in the area. the breakfast was tasteful and one of the best on my visit to Scotland both the variety and quality/authenticity. Host is very welcoming and supportive.

    The caravan was great, very modern and warm with beautiful views. It was a peaceful location on the countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Brilliant communication with the caravan owner.

    Beautiful country house in an stunning shoreside location. Amazing breakfast with delicious local ingredients. Friendly host booked dinner for us at a nearby town. Well located close to the NC500 route. Lovely walks nearby. I cannot praise this place enough!

    We had a lovely quiet stay in the country at this beautiful house. The staff were all wonderful and so helpful. We arrived late and were booked at a nearby restaurant that was perfect. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

    Reese was there to answer all my questions and give advice on thongs to do or places to ear. The lodge was super clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The sight itself was nice and quiet. The fact that dogs were allowed made the holiday even more speciel.
