Beautiful area, staff faultless, lots of seating areas and didn’t get to do a wine tasting but looked very nice. Breakfast was lovely except the mushroom as it had been grilled so was dry and a little bit crispy. But didn’t ruin my breakfast, fresh orange juice. Breakfast till 11.am which is a lovely option but checkout at 10.am think they need to look at that.

Joanne is a very hospitable, easy going and generous host, who showed care and interest for all her guests. I will go back there when I need a hotel near Gatwick

Absolutely everything was perfect. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely walk following the map supplied by the hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and room was fabulous. The staff were most attentive and welcoming. Dinner in the brasserie was delicious and the breakfast was amazing with a fabulous choice. The attention to detail was incredible and the facilities available made us want to stay for longer. We will definitely return.

Room good size . Bed exceptionally comfortable.
We would come again but perhaps upgrade the room and not opt for breakfast.

Calm, kozy and beutyfull place. Its like living in a park.
The host is very friendly and helpfull.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The building is a big old country house surrounding by beautiful countryside - very deceptive. The car park was large with easy access. I didn't use the wifi. I didn't have breakfast and there was no evening meal option. The ensuite was clean. There was a generous amount of tea, coffee and milk with refills available on a table in reception but although there was herbal tea, there was no decaff coffee.
Very grand on the arrival, beautiful and luxurious but understated and that’s a compliment! The staff team excellent, very expedient and professional. The restaurant staff were amazing and took excellent care of us. My partner is very particular about food but the Chef delivered to perfection! It was a pleasure to just get away for the night.
The room was spacious, modern and very clean. We loved the sofa and we were happy to just relax and watch some TV in peace and quiet.
Beautiful room with excellent heating and bathroom. There was also an ironing board, and a minifridge. Lighting was also very good and the environment very quiet and peaceful. I have stayed here before but the room I was allocated this time was by far the best. Super quality for a very reasonable price.
Bed was very comfy - quick easy check in very quick Wi-Fi . Quiet rooms peaceful sleep. It’s not perfect but it did what it said in the tin. I needed a comfortable cheap night sleep. Very warm, tv worked well. £49 I have no complaints and would for sure stay again. Do not let the road put you off it nearly did me but happy I went for it
I loved how peaceful this hotel was. Felt like a hotel but also home at the same time. There is a big garden too. They have microwave and mini fridge in the room which was perfect for me. I loved the room I stayed in and felt like I was the only person there as it was so quiet and in the countryside.
