A wonderful place to stay for a Tudor Castle experience. Rooms are beautiful as were the surrounding gardens. Staff were welcoming and helpful, food was lovely, especially the English breakfast. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay and experience

Grand looking building with spacious outdoor areas including an outdoor swimming pool. Lounge areas were cosy and nice to have a cup of tea and read a book.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Clean, good layout, lovely views. Cows and chickens in the field adjacent to the garden. Easily accessible from main road but beautifully quiet overnight.
two thumbs up! spotlessly clean. the cottage has everything you need for a leisure holiday. in a quiet location and yet just few mins drive to the grocery or 20mins to Bath.
A well converted barn, very spacious and with comfortable beds. It has a well equipped kitchen area and a great outdoor space. It has underfloor heating which was very welcome during cold September days and really provided a cosy welcome. We came as a family including our 20 month old granddaughter, to attend a wedding at Hamswell House and we enjoyed the quiet, the horses and talking to the people, we will be back.
Nice place to stay - really we enjoyed the time spent in this cosy cottage. I felt like in my grandma home - despite it is close to the road, birdsong and village quietness. Thank you
