We only had an overnight unfortunately. Its a secluded spot, but the grounds are beautiful with lovely short walks. we loved the building, the decor and the staff. Wonderful people, lively conversation and great knowledge of the area.

Fantastic hotel and fantastic surroundings. Excellent breakfast with perfect service. Everything was superb and we really recommend a stay here. Only problem was that we only booked one night. We would have liked to stay longer.

The food was excellent, the staff was so friendly and along with the place itself made you feel so warm and welcome. We will definitely be back in the summer months for our anniversary.

loved this beautiful, historic hotel with character! such a different, cosy stay in a beautiful old building. breakfast buffet was lovely, it was very clean, our beds were comfortable and the bath and shower were strong and hot. would definitely return!
