Overall the best Casa Rural we have stayed at to date.
It is easy to find and beautifully restored and maintained. We loved the friendly informal welcome. The surrounding scenery and overall tranquillity are incredible. Some great hiking nearby - we walked the route from Piedramillas over the hills to Acedo with taxi return.
Superb freshly prepared breakfast including their own walnuts and figs. Delicious omelette too.
Lovely to sit out in the evening sun enjoying a cold beer from the "Bar" - essentially a fridge that you help yourself from and record what you have taken. It's then charged to your room -shop prices incidentally, no rip off.
Although no evening food available, we ate in Los Arcos, only 6k away.
We would give Casa Ioar 11 if that was possible.

Cristina, the host of this stunning and beautiful accommodation is a darling. She welcomed us warmly and made us our stay enjoyable. We keep great memories of this pretty environment. The breakfast was lovely and served with friendliness. We definitely come back again. La Rioja is a wonderful area for wine tasting and the surroundings. Casa Robla made it even more memorable. This property is right in the centre of Laguardia, a medieval walled village surrounded by vineyards. Cars must be left outside the village which adds to the old-world charm as you walk everywhere - nowhere is very far!
Breakfast was found in a cafe 2 doors away and restaurants are too numerous to mention. We tried a few and they were very good.
Proprietors Terri and Robert were very keen to make our visit memorable and booked us on tours and into restaurants that we would not have found alone.
Laguardia has a magical atmosphere that The Manor House complements very well.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
This was such a beautiful place to stay. The building was stunning with exposed stone walls even in the bedrooms. It was so peaceful. The evening menu of the day was beautiful and very reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I am so glad I chose to stay here.

Second, it's easy to get to the place, it's a quiet neighborhood and very clean neighborhood.

Apartment was well equipped, clean and the host met us with the keys. He was charming and very helpful. The location is on the outskirts of Viana. It's a quiet, secure neighbourhood. Parking was on the street and free. Note that it is an uphill walk to the walled historic heart of Viana, c 500 metres. We did not attempt to park in the city but you can drive up there.
Brilliant location right on the Camino trail and in the middle of the town. Very luxurious looking hotel. Helpful and pleasant reception staff. My room was very large and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was large and had a huge bath which was very welcome. Buffet breakfast was 10 euros extra, but it was superb.
The place was like being home, it had everything to feel comfortable and relaxed. Close to town center but in a quiet location for some well deserved rest.
The staff were accommodating and made me feel that they were glad to have me as a guest. Laundry available across the street. Quiet. Easy walk to central Cafe area. Bus stop is close.
I had a perfect relaxing night after a long day of hiking. The staff was extremely forthcoming and helpful. The hotelroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The location is excellent. There was no noise whatsoever. Breakfast was fine. I hope to stay there again in the future.
