The hotel was very near the Monasterio, the location was perfect! It's good because we don't need to call for Uber to get to the locations we want to go to. About the hotel, the room was clean, bed was perfectly made and there's even a mini fridge for our food. I really liked the atmosphere as well. It was peaceful, no noise. I slept very well.
Everything. Beautiful grand house, beautifully appointed, scrupulously clean, comfortable bed. Positively gorgeous bathroom, walk-in closet, delightful terrace. Ideal location, quiet but super-convenient, smashing views. Amazing value. I never rate anything at maximum, but I make an exception for this.
Hotel is right in the centre of El Escorial which is set in the mountains in beautiful countryside just outside Madrid. the town is a bit of a tourist trap but is a nice place with Philip II's palace and a lot of very pretty countryside around.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and had a list of the sights to see and a guide to the best restaurants. His suggested walk up to a viewpoint was quite long and hard but well worth it. You could see the town, the palace and all the way back to Madrid, 25 miles away.
Wonderful location. Parking and restaurants close by. Very comfortable, quiet and well-equipped (though small) room. Helpful staff … an issue with wifi was resolved quickly and pleasantly, and good suggestions for where to eat.
A boutique hotel, spotless room, lovely bathroom with excellent shower. Comfortable bed. Small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Quiet room yet hotel just off main square with numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. A short walk to the Monastery and underground secure car park, €15.00 per 24hours with hotel discount.
The hotel is located in the old part of town, roads rather narrow but we managed with a large estate car, just take your time.

On my journey from Madrid to Porto this hotel is proving to be the most comfortable
Convenient to have breakfast (9am-10am, €7.50) and dinner (8:30pm-..., €15) onsite. The huge holy cross surrounded by natural elements right outside your window, peaceful place to relax your mind. The corridor outside the restaurant connect to a chapel.
Everything was thought through to make it a very comfortable stay. Spacious, room with balcony had a lovely view, location is excellent, property well maintained, very clean, large comfortable bed, quiet. Staff very helpful and responsive from before arrival, and throughout our stay. Basic kitchen facilities include a kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. Heating very effective. Town itself is really nice with many good eateries and hiking nearby as well as the main attraction of the monastery.
