Quim and Evi were of genuine kindness, very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. We do not speak any Spanish, so communicating was a bit difficult, but we always managed to get somehow understood and the service was great.The breakfast was amazing, containing fresh quality products only. It would be useful to put English or French translations of the names of the products on a list, though, as we did not always know what we were eating ;-) but that was not a problem, rather an exciting culinary discovery. Spa facilities looked really nice but would have necessitated some time for heating. I would have loved to have a dip into to the pool, but it was too cold which is a pity. But it is true we did our booking in the last minute, and for February, so I can understand this. For spring/summer season, I think it woud be great if your spa facilities could be included in the room price instead of costing extra - that would be good value for money for your clients. This is a delightful place to stay within a very short distance of the city of Girona, but is situated outside in the countryside and is so peaceful and pretty, so you really feel that you are really deep in rural Catalonia. The house is beautifully renovated and Anna is a wonderful host.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
This hostal/hotel is situated just a short drive from the motorway and consists of a large restaurant on the ground floor with hotel rooms on the upper floor. There is parking all around the restaurant and also in the quiet street behind. The restaurant is excellent with a great menu of the day selection at a very reasonable price. You can hear aircraft taking off from Girona airport, but it is not particularly disturbing. The staff are very helpful and put our freezer blocks in their freezer for us.
The hotel is in a beautiful quiet area ,. The restaurant is temporarily closed but the kitchen in the apartment is well equipped making it easy to prepare food . We liked the relaxed approach from the lower and quiet location so much we booked a third night .
Easy to park in front of the building, it has a lift and the area is quiet. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.
