Overall the best Casa Rural we have stayed at to date.
It is easy to find and beautifully restored and maintained. We loved the friendly informal welcome. The surrounding scenery and overall tranquillity are incredible. Some great hiking nearby - we walked the route from Piedramillas over the hills to Acedo with taxi return.
Superb freshly prepared breakfast including their own walnuts and figs. Delicious omelette too.
Lovely to sit out in the evening sun enjoying a cold beer from the "Bar" - essentially a fridge that you help yourself from and record what you have taken. It's then charged to your room -shop prices incidentally, no rip off.
Although no evening food available, we ate in Los Arcos, only 6k away.
We would give Casa Ioar 11 if that was possible.

Stunning accommodation - beautiful bedrooms lovely bathrooms well-equipped kitchen and quiet courtyard filled with flowers and outdoor seating. A hot tub / sauna that we didn’t have time to use but looked great. Our hosts we really welcome and informative.

Staff at the reception and at the restaurant were amazing. Super friendly and very helpful. We were doing the Camino and this was the only hotel which still had availability. Although the kitchen at the restaurant was already closed, they made an exception and served us lunch. That was so kind of them!
And despite having a room facing the petrol station, it was quiet during the night.
They have a bus which picks up and drops pilgrims from and for the Camino.
The owner was nice, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the stay felt like a big luxury after sleeping in hostels all week whilst on the Camino!
Quiet peaceful room with a bath just minutes from the Camino. Close to open restaurant in off season.
