My husband and I arrived at El Rocio and followed our satnav, which took us straight of road on to sand which made us have an accident as the front wheel stuck straight into the sand, I do understand that El Rocio is an arena but thought there would have been some kind of warning about access, we phoned the hotel explaining we were just around the corner, but they did not offer any help, a couple of local people stopped to help and told us it’s not possible for motorcycles.

There is an reason why Anton gets such hight reviews. It felt like going to your uncles house and just enjoy everything from the beautiful horses in the back for a London girl like me was a dream. Anton and his family are so amazing and kind we have to go back soon.
It's the best place to stay at El Rocio and go to Matalascansa during the day. Prefect location and beautiful eco village with horses and culture. Thank you Anton Jorge and I will be back soon.

De hotel manageress was super lief, aardig en hulpvaardig. We felt right at home and immediately welcome.

A clean and well kept holiday apartment. It has everything you need in the kitchen and the beds were comfortable. Hot water in the shower and good air conditioning. It also has its own free parking. The owner came to check that we had everything that we needed which we appreciated.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
A lovely hotel in a very special town next to Doñana National Park, a couple of minutes walk from the Sanctuary of El Rocío. It was great to enter the spacious, air-conditioned lobby in the scorching heat when I arrived, Noemi at the reception was super welcoming and friendly, she helped me make a reservation to visit the Park, My room on the first floor was small but clean and quiet, the aircon worked well, the little terrace offered views over the - dry - laguna and also the church. Breakfast was OK.
The hotel is a typical rural mansion set in the beautiful village of El Rocio. We liked the decor, the ease of check in (self check in), the breakfast options as well as the vicinity to the centre of El Rocio.
Good value for money. Everything works as it should. The location is excellent. No complaints - we stayed for four nights, happy with the room. Not luxurious - luxury is available elsewhere at a much higher price - but suited our purposes fine.
We loved the welcome by Mari Angeles (I think). Despite our limited language skills (hers and ours) we received a very warm welcome and Mari made sure we understood. Mari also looked out for us during the rest of our stay. Hotel facilities were limited but very clean and comfortable. We booked a superior room which was spacious, clean and peaceful and the big bed was very comfortable. A beautiful building in a very central location. Would very much recommend.
