Rustic get away nestled in a little cove with the Galecian countryside. The owners made us feel like old friends straight away. We stayed two extra days because we loved the space, the calming energy, and the surrounding villages and cities.

Clear communications and instructions for our arrival.
Super-obliging with info about the area.
Semi-rural location although a fairly busy main N-road passes nearby. Luckily at night traffic calmed down.
Cozy room with view of the local castle on the hill. Bit short on space for luggage. Comfortable bed.
Delicious homemade breakfast.

Loved the garden, the quiet location, the pool! We were made very welcome, got tips for things to do close by, and were very well looked after. A place to relax and wind down in a little village, a little way up the mountain, through windy village roads.

Stunning location with amazing views, spacious rooms and balcony.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
A beautiful stop, deep in the countryside. We stayed for only one night, but had great service and lovely food.
We had a double-bed room, looking out to the garden (in retrospect I would have preferred the mountain view). The bed was comfy, the room cool, and the shower hot.
There was wifi in the room, although it was a little slow. There was no problem parking, and being out in there countryside, there’s very little noise.
Location a haven if you want to be in peace, quietness and nature. Personnel super friendly. Good breakfast (freshly pressed orange juice). Fabulous river excursions nearby. Beautiful food in the restaurant; generous portions; served with a big smile even if you arrive very late in the evening
The location, facilities & the staff were exceptional, especially when informing them of our daughter’s allergy.
The continental daily breakfast for the week, was freshly squeezed oranges, fresh yogurt, manchego cheese and Serrano ham, with pastries and freshly baked rolls … yum.
The surroundings were peaceful after our hectic days and surrounding walking trails, adventurous!
The swimming pool & hot tub/spa bath were enjoyable for the whole family.
I would highly recommend this location & premises for a short or long stay.
