Set in a beautiful rural village, on the edge of a stunning mountain range, this historic building was peaceful and impressive. We were welcomed by our friendly host, who gave us recommendations of what to do/visit during our stay and showed us the original old-fashioned kitchen in the building. She also provided breakfast and good conversation. It was easy access to a nearby lake beach, where we swam.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and felt luxurious.
There are two restaurants in the town, we recommend the more informal one for its friendlier atmosphere and good value wine and food.
We'd love to come back and stay again :-)
