We stayed 6 night in the lovely house in Bad Gastein. Every thing was perfect for us. New and clean apartment with all that we needed. Fullt equipped kitchen, nice bathroom/shower and a superb bed. Perfect and fast communication with Claudia, who answered all our questions, and gave tips about hikingtrails and other thing about Bad Gastein. A 7 minute stroll to restaurants and bars and very quiet. For us it was a 5+ stay and we would love to come back and we of course recommend Franzls:)

Everything feels like a palace,
The spa is amazing, the staff was unusually kind (especially the lovely and wonderful Bruno) and helped with every little detail,
The rooms are amazingly decorated
The view from the room is perfect

And above all an atmosphere of peace and quiet

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place in summertime. I enjoyed my time very much, lots of options for hiking in the mountains, and the cable cars are close by. Very friendly owner who also gave me many good tips for the activities around the area. Good quality breakfast as well.
A fantastic hotel with an excellent breakfast of fresh juices, ginger shots, very tasty bread and coffee. Very stylish swimming pool and reception area. And a delightful spa. Nearby, nature trails in various directions and a great opportunity to rent a bike directly at the hotel. I can't think of anything better. Quiet, peaceful and very beautiful.
Staff was friendly and the area was quiet and peaceful. I asked for lactose free options for breakfast, so the staff got me lactose free yoghurt and milk, which was very much appreciated! Breakfast overall was quite good.
A very cosy hotel with a picturesque location and worth mentioning, always helpful and smiling staff. Without luxurious amenities, for those looking for ones, but meeting all the expectations of tourists focused on active recreation - skiing, running and mountain hiking. One of the biggest surprises is undoubtedly the delicious menu served in the hotel´s restaurant, throughout the week we sticked to it in the evenings, visiting the Bad Gastein village only during the day.
Exceptional breakfast - I even regretted that we could stay only night.
Room is clean, very big balcony with a view of mountain creek. Particularly comfortable beds, it was very quiet in our room despite many guests, my kids slept like roses. Just outside the hotel there is a beautiful hiking track along the creek/river.
There was a very warm welcome, someone from the staff drew us a plan of the best walking path considering little time we could spend hiking.
The view was spectacular from our apartment. It was also a very peaceful and quiet location. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Though we didn't have time to use the facilities - pool, massage, etc - there certainly seemed to be ample amenities, including an on-site shop.
