A fabulous site with absolutely STUNNING scenery all around. The "camp site" was spotless and well maintained, as was the very spacious cabin we rented. Actually, I could quite happily have moved into that cabin on a permanent basis! Falling asleep to the sound of a magnificent waterfall to one side, and a rushing bubbling stream to the other was simply magical. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and we were so sad to have to leave after 2 days to move on to the next leg of the journey! Sorry that I didn't take photos of the cabin (only a video) but it was exactly as per the pictures on the booking.com website.

Check-in was flawless, the owner lady is very helpful. She doesn't speak very good english, but we didn't have problems with understanding each other. The cabin was clean and everything was functional except a few things. The views from this cabin are the best from all the buildings on Solberget. The cabin is 6km from the village of Olden and it's relatively far from all the attractions, so you have to have a car or carefully plan your bus trips. It's not impossible, but not very comfortable. There is a bus connecting the whole Oldedalen on schooldays.

First of all, the location is epic, located in a beautiful valley in between the mountains, waterfalls and glaciers peeking from on top of the mountains. The staff (I only met one person since I was travelling after the tourist season) was very nice and helpful, it seems to be a kind-of family business. The food was great, I booked a dinner in addition to the breakfast and the meals truly were awesome. I do recommend booking a dinner - the food is worth it, the price is good compared to restaurants, and anyway there aren't almost any restaurants or cafes nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
