It was convenient to ride to Sognefjellet from here. The cabin has two floors with 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the lower floor, rest in the upper floor. So while the cabin looks small from outside, its actually big :)

Situated in Ringebu, in a historic building, 2 km from Ringebu Stave Church, Skjeggestad Gjestehus is a villa with free bikes and garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the villa's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Staying at the property felt like sleeping in a museum! It is a really old wooden house that served multiple generations and you could feel it! It does not mean that the house is dirty and falling apart, quite the opposite - there is a lot of modern facilities like internet, A/C, dishwasher etc, and everything was so clean it was far beyond my expectations! We were also gifted with fresh eggs for breakfast. A lot of thanks and respect to the property owner, and looking forward to staying there again!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Absolutely loved our stay here! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the traditional cabin so beautiful and comfortable, including all mod-cons. Unfortunately we only had one night here, our last night in Norway, but we hope we can go back some time in the future for a longer stay in this peaceful slice of heaven.

The mountain lodge has everything you need, the landlords have taken care of it. Relaxing at this place will be great at any time of year. It was a cold winter for us, but the atmosphere around and in the mountain house itself was special and comfortable. Thank you to the cabin vellers - they're great! Definitely come back more.
