On our arrival we were very well received in a personal and friendly manner by the host, Stefano, and his grandson. All though he was short of english and we only knew a handful of Italian words, we managed to communicate very well. During the stay we also spoke to his wife and brother - all of them lovely and warm people. The appartement has a personal touch, and is beauitiful decorated with a mix of mordern art, cozy decoration and old antique furniture. It has enough space for a family, and it was spotless clean and very well equipped for a long stay. The beds were very good, and gave us good nights sleep. And to top it of, the value for money is outstanding. The village is some 15 minutes drive off the A1 from Fiernze to Bologna, but its more that worth a detour if you are looking for a stop over, or want a base for exploring the area. Highly recommended.
