It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay on the island. We have everything right on our doorsteps and all necessities in the home. The owner messaged to inform of what's opened on the island while leaving a beautiful home made brown bread and treats to enjoy. A very informative guest book with all the island has to offer !
I would advise this stay to anyone travelling to the island and can't wait to book my next trip back !

Had a really lovely time staying in this little gem. It was a home from home. Only a short drive from several counties including Galway, Clare, Offaly and Tipperary. Service on the phone isn't great and no wifi as stated but that didn't bother us. Just get out and enjoy yourself, plenty of places to go and things to do. We went everywhere. Lena is such a lovely host and very informative of things to do around the area and also some local history. Really lovely lady.
Thanks for everything Lena especially the lovely eggs you gave us. Hope you enjoyed the onions. Take care

Cute, comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy the peaceful countryside - whilst still in reach of Galway & the Cliffs of Moher. Very well looked after cottage, full of thoughtful touches for an amazing stay.
Our stay at Cosy Room in a Stone Cottage was simply amazing. The accommodation itself was beautiful and spotless. It’s surrounded by beautiful Irish countryside and is a stone throw away from Galway city centre. Ronnie was so kind and attentive to our every needs; and made us feel at home from the moment we stepped inside. He gave us all the local tips a tourist could wish for. We can’t recommend our stay here enough.
Located right on the main road between Roundstone and Ballyconneely, this lovely cottage is a great base for exploring Connemara. The house is modern, clean and well maintained. We stayed in winter and it was warm, dry and cosy. It could easily accommodate larger families or groups. It’s a ten minute walk to the nearest town (Ballyconneely) but in a car everything is easily accessible.
The cottage is super homely and cosy (the fireplace provides a great atmosphere) and offered everything one needs for a great vacation! Would love to come back anytime and recommending it to everyone travelling to Ireland!
Lovely cottage, small and cosy, with comfortable sofas and beds. Very quiet and isolated from the noise and busyness. The location is good, 20 min or so drive from Galway. Kitchen is overall good for cooking and there is enough cutlery for a big group. The heating works very well unlike what other reviews say. WiFi is very good as well.
Everything was perfect for us as a family, a lovely cosy cottage with amazing views. Great kitchen for self catering, beds very comfortable, lots of great extras such as the welcome basket, hot choc and marshmallows for kids, little plates of sweets. All so thoughtful. Easy to walk to the beach
A wonderfully secluded location with its own grounds and house overlooking a private harbour. A great place to escape to and enjoy all the facilities including, a hot tub, swimming pool, and sauna with wonderful views over the bay. All the feel of a country house hotel without all the fuss. A great Connemara unwinding experience with friendly and helpful staff.
charming old Irish cottage with good sized bedrooms. One had a lovely view over countryside
Charming and cosy with breathtaking views from your breakfast table. Lovely cosy lighting in the restaurant at evening time, cosy room and very friendly and helpful staff, would highly recommend this for a nice cosy romantic getaway by the sea
