The cottage was clean, tidy and cosy. We had everything we needed for our stay, with towels and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. The property was exactly like the photographs and exceeded expectations. The countryside setting was relaxing in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the city. There was a helpful guide available explaining local transport, shops and amenities. Rosie, host, was friendly and helpful with great communication.
Cosy, comfortable, charming. Lovely decor, facilities and great location in beautiful countryside. Many excellent features. Rachel, our host, was welcoming and friendly. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend.
Beautiful little log cabin, very clean and cosy, outstanding countryside location, nice and quiet with old fashion Welsh coal mining theme, stunning mountain views and autumn leaves, just perfect ❤️ highly recommend
A lovely, cosy cottage in a very good location. The hot tub was an added bonus!
A lovely cottage overlooking the valley. Ingeniously put together with old slab stone flooring and underfloor heating. Having a little private outside area was handy for the dogs. And easy walk accessible down the drive. Inside very cozy and comfortable.
We had an amazing time staying at the Old Rectory. Liz (plus her two dogs and her cat) gave us a very warm welcome. The house - as the name says - is a 200 years old rectory, lovingly restored and tended by Liz and looking like a film set for a costume drama. The bedroom was very cosy (with a great selection of English literary classics!), breakfast - including eggs from Liz‘s chickens, which you might meet wandering on the road to the house - is served in a wood-panelled dining room.
The cottages are well equipped with all one could wish for. During our stay it rained for one day and we enjoyed staying in the cottage and lighting up the fireplace. There is a farm trail to explore the beautiful countryside and a river passing through the farm. Thank you Rachel and Rich for this fantastic four day stay!
A lovely cottage in the middle of the Welsh countryside. This stay had so many quirky hidden gems, beautiful scenery, animals and of course, the hot tub!
