We recently stayed at this holiday cottage and had a wonderful experience. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and easy access to local attractions. I would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
The location was great, fairly secluded except for the luxury cabins just the other side of the fence. Big garden that would be lovely for games and a BBQ had we have been staying longer than 1 night. Huge hot tub to accommodate our large group. Loved the cosy feel of the cottage, very cosy. Would be amazing in winter too with the log burners and huge fireplace in the living room
Lovely cottage that had everything you could need for a self catering stay. The hot tub and views were incredible. There was a selection of teas, coffee and biscuits with some small pots of milk in the fridge. (Not enough for cereal, but plenty for a couple of hot drinks.) It’s close to the town of Brecon and perfect for heading in to the national park for hiking.
Perfect home from home, everything you need, comfortable and cosy, the host was amazing, went above and beyond for the special touch to celebrate my partners birthday, little welcome package of fresh bread, milk and eggs is something we never expected and it was so lovely, it's clean, it's warm and we didn't leave the lodge all weekend, apart from watching the sunset in the hot tub, perfect romantic location and will most definitely be returning
We found Pen Y Bont to be a charming cottage, set in an idyllic countryside, with many scenic walks.
We loved the nice cosy feel to the cottage and the warm fireplace as well as the beautiful countryside views. We also felt it was good that it had all the kitchen appliances needed to cook if required.
We stayed in The Willow Lodge. It had all the MoD cons required for a self catering stay. The sauna was amazing. We used it every day. Make sure you take £1 coins to use and it stays warm for hours. There was a gorgeous little village in Knighton around 10 minutes drive away that we visited most days to do walks and grab food. We completed Offa's dyke and got some fabulous pictures. Was lovely to come back to such a beautiful setting at night in the Willow Lodge and use the Hot Tub. The dogs had the best time.
It is what it claims to be. An amazing cabin in an amazing location. The Sauna is the best part- completely private and with a great view! Cute cottage with a fireplace, sofa in front of it and a cozy bed. They provide more than enough firewood and fire starters to sustain even the coldest winter night.
Charming country house feel with cosy sitting rooms with open fireplaces and wood beams. Great food and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely place to stay.
