These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. This is a great location and once they are finished with the restoration it will be exceptional! I love the idea of turning a farmstead into varying self catering accommodations. The setting was perfect! The room we stayed in was huge! It was clean, the shower had great water pressure and temperature control. The bed was comfy too. We enjoyed walking around the property. There's a washer and dryer on-site too that appears to be free to use.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. We were upgradet coz we were on honeymoon and the house was just amazing and the garden aswell plus the owner, she made us feel very comfortable.

A fully equipped kitchen. Anne, our host was amazing. There were pancakes, eggs, cereal, fresh milk and orange juice waiting for us. The accomodation comes with a hottub, that was hot and ready. And with a view!

Beds are fitted with duck down bedding, and power showers are standard in the bathrooms. Fantastic place to stay for Scotland exploration. The cottage is cosy, very clean and with some history. Sandy and Cathy are lovely couple. Their Scottish breakfast is delicious. It was our first visit to Scotland and thanks to Sandy's advices we have seen great places that we would have missed. We will highly recommend Shawlee Cottage to everyone. And we will be back :)
