Waking distance to the local village 10 min. walk. Recommend the pub. Nice place to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We would happily return!

Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a terrace. The cottage was wonderful in every way. Everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. I mean everything. Very clean . Great communication from booking to extra information in the cottage. Top class. In fact hard to beat. Will go again . Already planning when . So we can visit the places around we didn't get to go. And just to return to this wonderful cottage . Felt like home.

Really lovely cottage in great location. Conveniently just off the Maunsell trail and not far from Castleton/Mam Tor walk. Very cosy, comfy beds and great living space. Thanks for the biscuits and milk!
Me and my mum felt at home the moment we walked into the cottage as it was so cosy. Claire, the host was great with communication and has gone to great lengths to make this a comfortable stay. We were provided with breakfast supplies and a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely treat! The cottage was very clean too. The hot tub was the cherry on top and made our stay extra special. I would definitely recommend going for walks in the village as there are some nice cafes and a pub nearby. We will definitely return in the future!
The cottage it's self was super cosy once it had been cleaned. Very quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. The board games were a great addition. The hot tub was very relaxing, and the beds were super comfy. The dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch.
The location is perfect, beautiful views and lovely cottage garden. Great for bird watching. Lovely cottage with good extras in the house, bath room and kitchen. Very pretty and close to parking. Mobility was easy as my mum is in a mobility scooter, she drove it along the path and round to the facility room and straight in. Although there are stairs inside they have banisters and were fine for her to negotiate.

Charming, character stone cottage only 5 mins walk up the hill from Bakewell village. Lovely, homely furnishing and linens etc. Complimentary breakfast and other goodies. Spacious bedrooms.
This was an amazing retreat from the city. The place had all the features of a cozy and romantic English countryside cottage. They had amazing breakfast, and great selection of cakes each day. The owners were a lovely couple and helped us navigate our way through the Peak District.
