Fishing, cycling and walking facilities are available nearby. Quiet location with lovely views. A lovely log fire in the lounge. Martin and his wife were a lovely couple. Fried breakfast was extra but there was lovely fresh fruit, croissants, smoothie eccetera included in the price.

Despite its peaceful rural location, Cringletie House is only about 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport. The convenient, yet secluded location makes the small country-house hotel ideal for a relaxing or romantic break. We stayed for one night and booked a table for dinner, As dogs are not aloud in the restaurant (we had our wee dog with us) the staff set up a table for us in the bar area. Very tasty (private) dinner. Thanks for lovely stay and we would like to come back.
