So bring supplies if you want to eat in. But there are good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The host Emilie was very helpful and replied quickly to our questions.

This authentic 17th-century French cottage provided an undeniably romantic escape. Featuring original oak beams and matching doors, the property exuded a unique charm. Situated in the birthplace of Claude Monet, its location was idyllic. The interior was tastefully adorned with period furniture and original artwork by the owner, artist Suren. Guests were invited to engage in artistic pursuits, inspired by the cottage's exceptional surroundings and natural light.

Spacious modern property in quiet countryside. Lovely host, greeted with a welcome pack. Although rural it's a good place for touring the area and local towns. Lots of facilities within the cottage and decent wifi. The little cottage shown on the website is not the gite - it's the hot tub room!
The property was very clean and tidy very charming with the cottage garden lovely setting the host Elisabeth and her husband Philip were great and nothing was too much trouble.
This is an annexe/cabin in an idyllic garden, separate from the main house. It is cozy and perfect on a rainy day. The breakfast was amazing, which was left outside our room at the time of our choosing. The kitchen has a stovetop, a microwave and some kitchenware. Clean room, comfortable bed. Very nice host.

We love this cottage. It is nice renovated and is charming and cozy. There is a sitting area and a nice garden. One share the garden with the neighbours (also a cottage for renting by the same owner). It just takes a few minutes to walk to the beach and small village. There is a nice bakery in the village, where we bought our bread for breakfast every morning. It is easy to bike around in this area. We went by bike to Bayeux, and the differs D-day beaches.
Lovely cottage with private garden and parking, just 5 minutes' walk from Monet's house. Cosy, spacious, and clean bedroom, comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with tasty local products (fromages, confiture, beurre, croissant, baguette, different types of bread...). Complete silence in nature, the ideal place to relax and recharge. Kindest staff, precise info and easy to contact. Discreet little gestures that made our stay so pleasant. Definitely recommended.
