Boulazac

We were worried when we were driving through the town to get here as it wasn’t as quaint as we expected, but as soon as we got to number 36 our worries disappeared. The host was welcoming, and so were the sheep and goats :) We stayed in the 2 bedroom holiday home/apartment which has its own little balcony to sit and enjoy the scenery. The 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen were well equipped and immaculately clean. We didn’t use the pool because this was just a quick stopover for us, but it looked clean. You could comfortably stay here for a longer term stay.

everything! Tina and John are so lovely, and helpful, made me feel so welcome. my room was perfect: tastefully decorated, attention to detail, comfortable. and lunch (I brought my own) and breakfast the next morning on the big terrace with the montgolfieres rising on the horizon was stunning. Roque-Gageac is a busy town but le Coin Tranquille seems far away from the hustle and bustle and yet, in ten minutes you can be down in the midst of it all.

Everything. It was such a special stay. Jean-jacqued and Lu are so lovely and the place so charming. We were in an authentic rural area. So peaceful, relaxing and pleasant. We could play with the children directly outside, no traffic, just garden, tidy grass and a lovely cat :) The house was cozy and spacious and the location in perfect to experience a real Dordogne experience, close to touristic places as well as nice lakes and parks such as the neufont lake or the Jacquou park. It was such a lovely room and view, a little courtyard with our own jacuzzi hot tub, which was very private and unique. We had an exceptional gourmet meal which was out of this world and the wine stock in our mini bar were great value and we enjoyed a bottle in the jacuzzi. Only regret we only spent one night as Bergerac is such a pretty town and the surrounding countryside is so wonderful.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely outlook over the surrounding countryside. Clair was a charming hostess. Would definitely recommend. Easy access to to Bergerac airport.

Located in the countryside off the road before you reach Montignac, this is a charming residence in traditional style with very welcoming hosts. Parking outside under the trees. Our room was ample and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast in the downstairs room. Delightful environment. Would definitely stay here again. It’s the kind of place one doesn’t want to leave.
Loved our stay with Helene and Francois who made us feel very welcome. A charming couple. Our room was just gorgeous, full of character and extremely comfortable. The garden is beautiful with a wonderful view over the lush countryside. Breakfast was delicious with strawberries and warm croissant for me. We wished we had stayed longer!
The appartment is in a nicely restored stone-build cottage, situated at a quite busy cross-road. It consists simply of a large living-room-bedroom and is not equipped with any kitchen facilities. No sofa, no comfy corner to sit or read, no reading light, no candles, no cushions or any element to make a bare room cosy.
A lovely country house, beautifully restored. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. As it was November, we didn’t use the garden and pool, but they too looked great for warmer weather. Above all, our hosts, Lily and David were charming, helpful and very welcoming. Breakfast was generous and varied…. all in all a fabulous stay.
La Vignerie enjoys a peaceful rural setting with panoramic views of the stunning perigord countryside. Our hosts could not have been more charming, friendly and welcoming, nor could our rooms, in this beautifully-restored farm house, have been more comfortable and stylish with every detail carefully attended to. We especially loved the comfy beds and the delicious French breakfast served in a shady spot on the terrace - a perfect beginning to our holiday in France.
