We got to interact with a 3-day old foal. Lots of space. Unbelievable view from the living room, kitchen and our bedroom. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They recommended High179, a 400 meter long suspension bridge 15 minutes away which was a blast! We would definitely stay there again. Note: Two of the pictures are taken from the apartment. The apartments also have a kitchen or kitchenette. We had a wonderful time at the property! It was the perfect place for our family (six adults). The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to enjoy breakfasts around the kitchen table and dinners on the well-appointed patio. An amenity we did not expect - there was an assortment of wines, beers, and other refreshments available for purchase which was especially nice on the evening of our arrival. On our second evening there was an issue with not having hot water - apparently the boiler was having technical difficulties. We emailed the owners at 22:30, and by 9:30 the next morning the technician had already been there to fix the issue. The owner's responsiveness was impressive which we so appreciated! The location is amazingly situated - about 25 minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (just over the border in Germany) and only about 10 minutes from Ehrenberg castle, fortress, and ruins. Our time at the chalet was magical - thank you to the owners and our host Gerda!

It was just an incredible experience.

On top of that the location was great because we didn't have to drive that far to our planned sightseeing destinations. The owner is also very friendly. So all in all this house is definitely highly recommended!
