Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Traditional english club, well maintaned, english breakfast, good kitchen for lunch and dinner. Very friendly staff, excellent laundry service, safe car park.
Good and very clean rooms. Great staff. However, the furniture and decor are a little dated, giving the impression of a motel .Investing in warmer bespoke headboards and bedsuites will help the place look modern, warmer and cozy.
self catering with everything available ,we enjoyed our stay and i will take this as my permanent place whenever i travel
everything is maginificent ,location ,the layout ,the environment
air conditioners or fans needs to be installed especially during summer time
10/10 5star
We loved the cottage. It was a great size for our family of 4 for 3 days in Bulawayo. The property is lovely and very quiet. The cottage is very quaint, if a little rustic. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including both an electric and gas stove top. The property has solar panels, so the power stays on through outages.
The outdoor space is absolutely charming.
The hosts were very kind and welcoming.
The pool! This was awesome and provided a welcome interlude to the summer heat.
The thatched cottage made a good first impression. The beds were super comfortable and very clean.
Most of all we liked the hosts. They were welcoming and willing to help us when we had requests or questions.
The hosts were also understanding and reasonable regarding the costs for items that were broken.
We would have loved to stay longer.
Lovely cottage in a very quiet and serene area of Hillside. Very close to shops, Hillside dams and a few minutes drive from town. The grounds surrounding the cottage are awesome and you feel like you are in matopos. My kids especially loved the friendly dogs, Rollo and Talula and our host, John, went out of his way to make us feel at home.
