The outside area is lovely and the cottage is very well equipped with a large comfortable double bed. The lounge area has an extra bed. One has all the facilities one needs.

The rooms are cosy and rustic. The bathrooms are newly done and very good. Security is very good. The local restaurant is within walking distance and serves excellent pizzas and happy hour double brandy and cokes. There is a fire place in the restaurant. The town of Willowmore has received some negative reviews, but it is in a beautiful place and no worse, even better than, most small towns. The road there is long but in surprisingly good condition and through incredible landscapes.

Exceptional hospitality by Marc and Veronica. Beautiful newly renovated bathroom. Fridge stocked with cold water, milk for coffee, yoghurt for the muesli provided and fruit juice. Rusks for your coffee. The breakfast was a lovely croissant with scramble egg, beautiful prepared by Veronica on a time that suited us. Safe parking. We will definitely recommend Lavender Cottage as a stay over for your trip

Well situated, very secure, lovely cottage. Well equipped with coffee tea, milk, etc. Host is on the ball with detailed whatsapp instructions and information. However, the guest typically forgot to read the whatsapp messages!

Stunning location in the Baviaans area, beautiful serene and small campsite with some cottages and a few rooms (as part of the lodge). Very well kept and nicely laid out. Stunning spots to braai and go for hikes or walks.

Self catering , cosy comfortable well equipped Cave cottage. We did not use the dining room up at the main house but had a braai on the deck at the cottage , and were able to purchase wood & ice from the small lodge. Friendly helpful staff who recommended a walk to the bushmen paintings . Use good walking shoes and be careful on the climb up to the caves as quite a lot of loose shale and fairly steep.
