The hostess was in contact from booking confirmation. The villa was exceptionally clean and had absolutely everything one will require on holiday. The quality of the linen, crockery, garden, is excellent. The view makes you feel like you on a holiday from the moment you step onto the patio. It was relaxing and a memorable stay. The place was amazing!!!The rooms were nicely decorated and each of the 4 rooms had its own ensuite. The kitchen was well equipped. Great outside entertainment area with braai facilities and stunning views within a secure location. The host was fantastic and gracious. Will definitely book Villa 43 again.

The cottage was in a great location, close to the beach, comfortable, charming, with everything you need. Phillipa is a wonderful host, the rooster and chickens and ducks were charming. The unit was very clean, the view was amazing. Well accommodated self catering unit. Alan the owner kept in touch, generous and caring. Chris the caretaker was friendly and welcoming when we arrived.
We didnt like anything as we had a casulty and good not stay at the Lodge, we did ask for refund but owner didnt respond
on call, whatsapp, SMS and email very sad experience and you should delist them.

The location is idyllic. The birds in the pond are mesmerising and entertaining. The walks along the nature reserve are lovely and the cliffs and mountains around the areas are amazing.
The unit itself was spacious. We appreciated the tumble dryer for getting towels dry each day.
Having borehole water was fantastic for washing hair.

Cute, cosy and very comfortable little cottage-style accommodation, with everything I needed for a self-catered stay. The hostess was lovely and very welcoming, and the grounds were extensive, with views over the ocean below. The array of animals wandering the grounds added to the specialness of the place. The apartment is tastefully and beautifully furnished. I have stayed in many self catering venues, Peacock Cottage is by far the best when it comes to neatness and cleanliness. Owners spared no cost in renovation. Beds were comfortable and every appliance worked.Will definitely be back.
