I stayed in this house with my 12 year old son who is an avid traveler and so has travelled to over 50 countries with me in the past few years. In these trips I have stayed in all sorts of the accommodations and certainly this is one of the best ever stays. This house is located at a perfect location - within walking distance from the famous and beautiful Registan Square and Amir Temur Mausoleum and yet it is in a very quiet neighbourhood. The house is recently renovated, extremely beautiful, cosy , comfortable and practical. In fact the house is more beautiful than it looks in the booking.com pictures. It is immaculately clean and it has got everything you need in a house for a holiday/ travelling stay. Davlat, the owner is an amazing host. He was waiting for us at the house for our check in . In fact he offered to pick us up directly from rail station which was not required as I was travelling in direct taxi from Tajikistan- Uzbekistan border on the check in day. He made our stay very comfortable and a special one - he offered us ripen peaches from his own garden and melon fruits . He provided in the house bottled water for our whole stay, lot of other fruits, cookies, chocolates, sweets …, In the house he also provided abundant number of new and freshly cleaned towels .,, though we did not need so many . Whenever I visit Samarkand again and this house is available, I’m going to stay in this house only . Thank you again Davlat for everything you did for us and made us feel like at home .Your house reminded me of my parental house in India where I grew up before settling down in the western world .

Absolutely the best! Incredibly friendly staff/owners make you feel like you’re at home. They consulted me on all matters and gave the best advice. Breakfast is home made and super delicious. Cozy and clean room. My flight was late in the evening, and they let me stay at the general area and use all the facilities and even brought treats. 5 minutes from Registan Square.

We liked everything! The hotel is very beautiful and clean. It is much more beautiful than in the photos. The administration should add more photos to show how amazing it is. Great location, very close to the most popular historical sights. Amazing spa facilities: sauna, hamam and a swimming pool with a jacuzzi. The room was cozy and clean. Also, I would admit that the service was excellent! Thanks to a young lady at the reception.

The place has a very good, fresh, natural vibe with a small pretty yard having trees, plants and charming numerous little birds. Along side of the yard, cozy sitting place and a neat dining table will always be ready to serve you and make you feel like home. At the entrance, they’ll always have hot water pot ready for anytime tea. The caretaker Fotima will always be there to greet you and serve your hot tea, fresh fruits, cakes, and warm food. Even for vegetarian she managed well to serve us with some vegetarian options.

Definitely the best hotel I have ever visited in Central Asia. Hotel was clean, cozy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Sauna (actually Finnish sauna, constructed by Finnish sauna company named Harvia, not Russian) and spa was great place to relax after long day. Breakfast was good as well. Special thanks and shoutouts to Sara from reception who solved all of my problems, gave late check-out and called taxi back to the train station :)

The hotel is cosy and pretty, we felt at home, the room was big and very nice. This hotel has an authentic charm and a beautiful terrass, so romantic :) a special message to the staff "thank you for everything" they are wonderful people ! We spent two weeks in Ouzbekistan visiting different cities and Kamila Boutique Hotel was one of our favorite hotel.

With its hybrid identity that doubles as a museum, this hotel is as conceptually unique as it charming. The dear brainchild of Mohammad and his family, who attend to their guests with obvious care and passion to serve, the Silk Road Empire Hotel affords a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, characterful rooms, and above all, excellent service from all the staff who are willing to go out of their way to make you happy. 100% recommended.
