I loved staying here, it was the perfect space to get away from day-to-day life for a while. The property was clean and had all the necessary things for our stay, the bed was comfortable, the tv was ready to go and everything worked just fine. We spent a lot of time at the fire pit and the hosts home was on the same piece of land but I only ever saw them coming or going in their car. Dave was very helpful with issues that arose with Booking.com and also when the key code didn't seem to send through, he made sure that we had it quickly and was very quick at replying to texts/messages. I really enjoyed the property, it was very cute and niche and far away from everything to feel isolated but it was also very driveable to get food/go to the store/see live music or workshops in the nearby area. I would definitely stay again. Thanks, Dave, this stay meant a lot to me as it was a special weekend.

It was peaceful, quiet, and very easy to get to and from Texas State Univ in San Marcos. Absolutely loved the area, the atmosphere, and the quality of the cabin. Such an amazing stay- would highly recommend!
Absolutely beautiful property, well furnished, tucked away, but still close to town. Very pretty scenery and lots of precious critters, we really enjoyed being so close to nature. The host was so friendly and helpful as well! Lots of fun for a couple, and the property also had larger cabin options if traveling with the family. We’ll definitely be back!
Location was quiet and peaceful but still near San Marcos. The place is beautiful and well equipped. The lovely greeting committee (the cat) was a delight and escorted us to our bungalow. Loved it !!
