This hotel has everything you can ask for. The front desk staff are very personable and informative. I loved having complimentary coffee and water available. The breakfast that was included was very good, and the lady attendent did such a great job of replenishing everything. The rooms are beautiful and welcoming. We had a jacuzzi, fireplace, coffee machine, microwave and refridgerator in our room(excellent). The housekeeper did an excellent job of taking care of our room.
We will definately be back.

Convenient, clean, excellent pool and aquatic center, especially for kids. The decor is very dated-very cabin style and not new. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.
The Nook was a beautiful, cozy place to stay in a charming neighborhood just blocks from Galena's downtown area where we visited shops and picked up food after our long drive. I would book the Nook again in a heartbeat and will be looking at their other properties as potential rentals for future trips. Loved the Nook!
Great choices for breakfast, and I loved the breakfast room! Most of the time I take my breakfast back to the room, but I stayed because of the cozy cottage vibe. Loved the pool area! The hot tub was hot!! Seems like lots of hotels have "warm tubs." This was perfect after a day of hiking! The room was spotless, and we appreciated the pump soaps and lotions!
What did we like? Everything. This place really has a 'cabin by the lake' feel to it. So warm and cozy.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, modern and well appointed.
Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.
Just a very cozy feel throughout the hotel. Loved that the bar was open for breakfast drinks. Also, the breakfast room was open in the evening for us to play cards by the fireplace.
