The hardworking couple running this place, does everything they can to assure a stay living up to your expectations,, and they succeed. If you like quiet, relaxing enjoying a fruit smoothie and great view to sea, birds and jungle, this is it. There is a usually deserted beach two minutes walk from the guesthouse.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Centrally located,about 6km from the bus stn-blue or green shared/moto taxi available there-plenty of shops,restaurants etc.If you are going to the pier then flag a green taxi across the rd from DH,they are frequent.
Staff friendly,polite etc and gave me plent of useful info.Bungalows are a good option-less noisy than a typical hotel.
For me this was an excellent budget option,if I ever return to Ranong I would stay at the Dahla House again.

You can get a frige for rent. The shower is clean comfortable , water pressure is good. Wifi at the entrance.
This is a comfi place in which you can darken the room at midday and have a good night sleep if needed during the day.. and youll need it for sure 😉

Amazing location right by what was my favourite beach on the island, clean and spacious bungalow with very calm and private feeling. Definitely would stay again :)
Very nice and clean Bungalows for a good price.Friendly and helpful staff. It's very calm but also a bit out of the City.You need a Taxi or walk 30 minutes.But definitely a recommandable place to stay.
Location near the quiet end of buffalo bay surrounded by nature and jungle. Loved mosquito nets on doors and windows. Clean and bungalows were well maintained. No internet in room but some at reception if you need it. Great Burmese food nearby at phayam valley. Would stay here again.
I arrived close to 10pm and the owner was outside hanging out with his friend.
I only stay for one night in a 4 bed dorm on my transit to Koh Phayam; and it was a low season so I was the only one in the dorm.
Bed was so cosy. Goes to other area in the hostel.
