Cozy Cabin in Stockholms Archipelago, hotel in Svartsö

Featuring a sauna, Cozy Cabin in Stockholms Archipelago is located in Ingmarsö. This villa provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

Remote but not isolated, this Cabin is a perfect getaway. We stayed with a 9 month old baby for a weekend and we enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the absolute relax and peace of this tiny island. Gert lives on the island and he is there for any need, but you can enjoy plenty of privacy and silence. One gets there with the ferry waxholmsbolaget, so no need of special tickets or advanced booking. The family cabin is spacious and comfortable, but you get to use other lovely settings too, such as the sauna, the Korean-style lounge and the barbecue overlooking the sea. We loved this and would love to come back again.

Charmig stuga av rustik stil i Stockholms område, hotel in Svartsö

Set in Stockholm and only 35 km from Fotografiska - Museum of Photography, Charmig stuga av rustik stil i Stockholms område offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Excellent little cottage in Stockholm's archipelago. If you are looking for a feeling of seclusion in Swedish nature, while still within reasonable driving distance of many amenities then I can highly recommend a stay at this property. Nice walks in the forests nearby, the property has direct access to the water, but there are also sandy beaches within a short drive. The property itself has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped kitchen (hob but no oven), large fridge/freezer, working heating/hot water, grill + everything necessary to cook on it. Would certainly visit again.

Great place, big to accommodate many people, great deck and barbecue facilities. Nice walk to the beach. Antique anterior, makes it cozy. Kitchen very well equipped. Despite that it looks a little bit older from the outside, the inside was sparkling clean. Host is very responsive. Easy check-in and -out.

Staying at the hostel was a lovely experience. Comfortable, clean rooms and with the availability of a shared cosy dining and sitting area in an adjacent building. The island location is very special. We got off the ferry at the wrong place but were very kindly assisted with our bags- thank you again! We pre-ordered breakfast which was also very nice.

It is exactly what you would expect: a getaway on a remote island. The cabins are not luxury, but they are clean and have everything you need. In the main space, there's a communal kitchen, a small shop for ice cream and coffee, and good breakfast available. It's a short walk to the jetty, where you can also swim into the sea. We walked back to this place right after a swim - 5 minutes! We also chilled out in the lounge a few times. You can rent bikes. All of this made it extremely easy to enjoy the time there!

The location is charming, very close to the sea and the ferry stop of Norra Svartsö. The hostel is simple and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful; guests have a large kitchen and dining area indoors and tables and grill facilities outdoors. Bedrooms are essential but clean, and the beds are comfortable. We loved the fact that dogs are welcome. The island is calm and ideal for long walks and swimming in the lake and the sea.

Svartsö is a little gem and the Vandrarhem the perfect location to stay. We could not have been happier with our choice. The facilities and rooms are super clean and cozy, the kitchen is very well equipped and the personnel is super friendly and helping with everything. There are bikes for rent to discover the island, a bastu to rent at Bistro Sågen and a quite nice restaurant. The only thing is that beaches are rare as well as spots where you can jump in as many properties are either fenced or marked as private.

We really loved the entire place and experience. The room is simple but clean and comfortable, the living room / dinner room is very cute and cosy, and most of all, the people are extremely kind and helpful. My partner forgot his wallet and the hotel managed to have it sent through a ferry extremely quickly! Really amazing place, no hesitation to have, and we'll definitely come back.
