Lill Hagahus was our home for a week. And that's what it felt like. The cabin is located on the edge of the Söderasen National Park in an absolutely quiet location. There is hardly any traffic, one becomes downright curious if a car drives by to the neighboring area in this sparsely populated cul-de-sac. The cabin itself is very cozy and conveniently furnished. We haven't missed anything these days. There are two bunk beds (i.e. four beds) in the bedroom and a pull-out couch in the kitchen-slash-living room. There are also storage options. However, more than four people could be a little too crowded. The bathroom is quite spacious with a large shower, toilet and sink. We really had enough hot water in our own boiler. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need including coffee machine for filter coffee. The waste separation is exemplary. The air conditioning cools the cabin within a few minutes on a hot day. We sat on the terrace every morning with our coffee and admired the sunrise. In the afternoon, the large cherry tree is very nice for lingering in the shade. The hiking opportunities in the national park are fantastic. The next supermarket is around 15 minutes away and is well stocked. There is a delightful café just across the street. The towns of Landskrona (ferry to the island of Ven) and Helsingborg are also worth a visit. Lill Hagahus's hosts are genuinely nice people. They live on the same property and call their hens – with a proud rooster – sheep and cats for her own (the cabin walls, however, keep the morning crowing off very well). The hosts are happy to provide their guests with insider tips concerning activities and places to go; they are – rightfully so – very fond of the surroundings, especially the National Park, and we had a few conversations over the fence (so to say) about the Park, Scania, Sweden and life itself.
