It is nice location near the river between the woods. Nobody is disturbing, though big road is near and nearest town is easy to reach. Fireplace helps a lot to have cozy winter evenings. Sauna is tiny but in the house so it is a good extra. All things you need for the household are there for you. River view from a kitchen table is also nice.
It was a very quiet location, but within easy reach of Grönklitt ski station and the town of Orsa. The cabin was warm and cosy, with plentiful hot water, and nicely furnished. The kitchen was also well-equipped.
Lovely, charming cottage with all facilities in beautiful surroundings next to a river. We had a wonderful stay, warmly recommend the place if you want to visit Dalarna and enjoy some quite days in Swedish nature. Very good for children and close to Orsa Wildlife park and other attractions.
Quiet location close to centre of town and with views of the river and lots of green. Very helpful owners Hakan and Carola who have travelled a lot themselves. Old charming house with cosy atmosphere. Free use of bicycles, canoe, sauna.
Everything was wonderful: the location (quiet street in a tiny village, with the woods around the corner), 15mins drive from Orsa Grönklitt), the house (all wood inside including a fireplace and cosy seating area) and well as the facilities (well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, excellent beds). We have been in Swedish cottages before but will definitely try to come back to this place!
