Perfect place for a quick stopover (it was March and snowing!), very warm and cosy with kitchen and living room to use. Can imagine its lovely in the summer with the lake.
The estate is beautifully situated near a lake with hiking trails all around.
You could rent the spa with sauna and jacuzzi and have it all to yourselves. What a treat!

Dinner at night was outstanding!
Rented a small cabin that had place for 4 persons. It was very small, but we were only two so that was fine. There are not much more than beds and a table in the cabin (kettle, fridge, no running water), but that according to the expectations so no problems with that. I had a bit of a changed plan and called in to say that we would arrive a day later. The host was very flexible, so that was not a problem either. Beautiful surroundings!
We were three guys attending a local disc golf tournament. The lodge was not very far away from the venue, so that was a big plus. We had more sentral alternatives to choose from, but in hindsight we are glad we chose this option instead. It's a simple way of staying, compared to a hotell room, but it was plenty for our needs, and more affortable. The hosts seemed very welcoming and nice, and made sure to meet and greet us down the road both when we arrived and left. We would highly recommend the cozy lodge 🙂
