Separate shower and WC and own sauna. Well equipped kitchen where everything worked. Lots of wildlife (deer in garden). Quiet but agricultural area so you have to make allowances for the odd tractor. Room is combined living/bedroom but big enough for two people. Hosts are very helpful and approachable. Lots to do in the area so makes a good base to explore from.

We got a cabin placed directly at the lake Runn. Surrounded by forest, we really enjoy the calmness Sweden can offer. Great place to run, swim, rent a boat or just stroll through the surrounding. The cabin was really cosy. It consists of a one big room - kitchen and living room, two small bedrooms with beds and a maisonette - one room with beds. The stair is a bit steeper so watch out with small kids. We will definitely come again.

A unique hostel on the edge of one of Sweden's most fascinating cultural treasures, the Falu mine. The building was old and beautiful, and all the common spaces were sparkling clean. My room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. There's also an excellent restaurant and a charming cafe just a two-minute walk away. Altogether a quiet and peaceful oasis in the charming city of Falun.

Small, but charming and well equipped cottage in a really beautiful surroundings. Great place to cycle, walk in a forest, have a sauna or swim in a lake. Also good connection to Falun itself.
Easy access by own car, and convenient to drive to both Borlänge and Falun and close to Ornässtugan. Spacious common areas. Conference facilities. Downstairs and upstairs kitchen that can be used by guests. Reasonably spacious rooms with en suite shower/wc. Free parking. Nice countryside surroundings. Check-in by door code and key box worked fine when no staff is around.
The location besides the lake and in the woods is just amazing. the cottage was cozy and well furnished with the essentials. the area was peaceful and quite and well suited for a getaway.
This was our second visit here, and we will definitely come back again.
In the cottage, everything is perfect down to the last detail - from the main living-/bedroom to the kitchen and private sauna.
Around the cottage, there are several hiking trails within walking distance, and by car it’s a few minutes to the city of Falun or -during winter time- the skiing areas of Borlänge and Bjursås. Many beautiful cross-country slopes are also close by.
