The house was very lovely, the owners made sure you can enjoy the surrounding with privete pool area, shade with chairs and a table, BBQ even a hammock. The shower was very nice and the A.C unit was really good and saved me when the temp raised to 40°c. Would definitely recommend this place

We travelled as a couple by bus from Porto for two days. I you stay more than two days we recommend having a car to be more flexible in exploring the region. The hosts were very nice and reachable at all time and helping us with our questions. They even helped us book a taxi for a hike which wasn’t starting from the village. The place is well equipped and has comfortable beds. It might get a bit cramped in the kitchen if you are more than 2 people, but the price is really good. The place is 5 min walking from the village center which has cafes, supermarkets, and all you need. We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Mondim de Basto :)

The cabin is magnificent. It is beautifull, lighted and waking up to the view from bed fills you with joy. It is modern has everything one vould desire. The kitchen us fully equiped and well stocked. There are sivketd everywhere. The WiFi is the fastest I had. Carlos must be the most generous host ever - and we stayed with many great hosts. You come to the room to find fresh flowers in the vase (never had that ever with any host!), a huge bowl of wonderful veriaty of fruits (also, never had so many fruits from a host), and the fridge is stocked with so many things, we didn't need anything else for hearty breakfasts on the veranda or out in the gazibu in the garden - (and such generouse gifts I never saw anywhere, ever). The pool is amazing. Beautiful and perched above the landscape like at the most luxuriouse resorts. In fact, staying there felt just like that. The town center of Mondim de Basto is just 5 minutes away and Carlos told us where to find the best places, which we enjoyed greatly. We also took his suggestion for touring the area, and were not disappointrd. Our three days passed way too quickly and we wish we could have stayed longer.
