This is a remarkable place to stay. The bedrooms and the communal areas are decorated beautifully in a blend of traditional Portuguese and stylish pared-back minimal. Everything here is about relaxing, getting away from the buzz of the modern world and taking time to refresh. Dinners are excellent, and as you sit at a communal table, you really get a chance to stop and meet other travellers, which is a wonderful part of the experience. (you can sit separately if you wish, of course!). The rooms do not have a TV - superb - and you go back to the main kitchen for tea, coffee and cake whenever you want it. Outside the views across the vineyards to the valley are just sensational, so peaceful. The team at the Quinta are all helpful, friendly and really welcoming, you couldn't ask for more. And finally I must mention the visit to the winery, which is really interesting to see - and taste!

The property is just beautiful, clean and cozy. I immediately felt home. The host was super nice and helpful. There a smalls supermarkets around and the view is amazing. I highly recommend.
Staying at the charming and modern cottage in the vineyard was an absolute delight. Surrounded by serenity and equipped with all amenities including a pool, terrace, and a grill with a breathtaking view, it was truly a haven. Everything was clean and the house is very cosy. It’s located in a very calm village where you could listen only the birds during the mornings. It was amazing for relaxing!
The parking lot isn’t easily accessible however there is enough space to park near the house.
Only a suggestion to the owner that it would be easy to identify the house if there is any sign with the name of the house turned to the main street.

A lovely cottage in the heart of the Duoro. Very quiet location with wonderful views of the area. It has good facilities for cooking a meal. The local town was great with shops and restaurants.

The whole property is just beautifull. So well mainteined and the interior of the room was very cozy and well thought. The private pool & yard for our kid to play was just awesome. And the VIEWS! You just can't get enough of it!
We took the wine tour and it was really good, also very tasty wines. Had to buy couple bottles. Staff very friendly, and discreet.
The property is located at a vantage point on the valley with breaktaking 180 degree views. Ana could not have been more helpful. Wine tasting with Joaquim and Ana was also a highlight. Breakfast each day was a delight and dinner even better. The apartment which is a converted wine stamping room from 1840, is the only one on the site, so the pool is exclusive. It was an amazingly relaxing stay supplemented with hikes through awesome countryside.
