Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The views are breathtaking regardless of the weather. The house is super cozy and well equipped. We had plans to drive to nearby towns and to explore Geres. But once we arrived, we had no wish to drive anywhere else. We just enjoyed our stay. We are definitely coming back.
The house has a very good location in Sistelo, it had a good size for us, a couple. The fireplace in a cold and rainy winter day made all the difference, although it would have been impossible to light it up if we hadn't brought firestarters with us and have an ax to cut big logs into smaller pieces.
