Amazing, well-equipped and lovingly taken care of house made of volcanic rock in a quiet location with a stunning view of Mt Pico. The bed and pillows were soo comfy! There is a large outside space with a seating area and a terrace where one can chill and admire the volcano. Ana and Maria were very attentive, responsive and kind hosts. We did. received welcome treats on arrival. We would definitely come back :-)

The house was absolutely wonderful, as in every image you might have from books or movies. José had everything immaculate and was super kind with all our needs. We felt like we had just entered a different world or living a dream… We even had some welcome offers that delighted us: cheese, wine and a marvelous home baked lemon cake. This is the place to stay! Will definitely be back!

It was a great experience! We were both amazed by the hospitality and generosity of the host. We received a fruit basket including homemade jam and fruits from the garden upon arrival. We came for a friend's wedding and the apartment has a hair curler, which basically saved me as I under-packed. The place is so bright and cozy that we wanted to stay an extra week. I'm not an animal fan but by the end of the trip I managed to make friend with the cat, which was amazing!
