This is such a nice hotel in a beautiful location close to Pinhao (walking distance). The view over Douro river is breathtaking and the different facilities so nicely renovated. The breakfast one of the best I have ever had and the dinner restaurant served super good food - no need to eat in the village. Stay at the hotel and enjoy the facility, the view and the great food. Of course the wines are excellent and also - to our surprise - the beer.

Incredible location on top of the world- by far the most spectacular setting in the Duoro Valley. From the moment we arrived, Bernardo and his wonderful staff went over and above to make our stay memorable. Attention to detail and service was world class and very personable. Fascinating guests and conversations but everyone very respectful and a peaceful place to sit by the pool enjoying one of the house wines or getting captured by a book on a sofa overlooking the majestic views. Bernardo was on hand to give us great tips on places to eat, boutique vineyard experiences and private boat trips- we really felt like we could navigate the best Duoro had to offer

This is a fantastic place to stay! The house is lovely, Helena is so warm and caring and does an amazing daily breakfast. There is tons of space, the house is great for a bigger group, and it has a lovely view over the river. I can only recommend very very highly! We would love to go back.

The whole experience exceeded expectations. We visited with extended family at Christmas. The villa is gorgeous and the views are spectacular. Heaps of space, fabulous games room, fireplaces, well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

beautiful place. spotless inside and out! everything you need to relax, cook if you want. the views are breathtaking! we were supplied with all the basics, bread, eggs, milk, juice, jelly,cheese, meats, coffee and teas. the bedrooms are large! the tv gets every channel ! so much charm !!! you will not be disappointed at all with this booking ! thank you for all your loving touches !!! you can walk into town and many wine tastings from this location !

We loved the location among the vines right on the river but with an easy walk to town. The house is a beautiful comfortable home away from home and we especially enjoyed the variety of outdoor living areas. Dined outdoors every night. Would love to have stayed longer.
