Very warm welcome of our hosts in this beautiful family-owned castle with modern comfort. The location is very convenient to go to Porto airport. I would also recomend a walk around the nearby village, it's very charming.
Everything. The location was amazing, the history of this World Heritage estate very interesting. Beautiful botanical Barok garden. The apartments very tastefully decorated, a nice and comfortable bed. Fresh bread and breakfast on your doorstep every morning. And Jose and Hugo were the best hosts ever.
Excellent country house with all the amenities to relaxe for a few days. We stayed for 2 nights mostly in the house and in the surroundings and we could easily be there a few more. There are enough possibilities to relaxe: enjoy the swimming pool, have a barbecue / meal in the terrace or simply go for walk in the woods.
The front desk clerk was fantastic!!! We arrived late afternoon & I couldn’t get my wifi to connect. She saw that I was distraught & put us in an upgraded bungalow. The property is beautiful, the rooms/bungalows are great, breakfast was really good & the staff was awesome. The price was a super value.
If this resort was in the states we would take our entire family often!

I stayed two days and fell in love with the place but morw than than with Claudoa the owner.
