Lovely traditional house set in beautiful grounds with an amazing outdoor living space and pool. Lots of space to spread out into different seating areas on balconies and terrace. Beautiful gardens with views over the valley towards Braga. Air con in the bedrooms (which we didn't need most of the week) but was very useful when temperature topped 32 degrees. All very comfortable and easy. Cafe Juventude in Parada recommended for food and coffee nearby (excellent burgers which suited our teenager) and lovely people (owner speaks good English and very helpful) also kitten!

Pedro was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Such a wonderful place to stay.

Hugo, the host, very warmly welcomed us to his stunning villa, despite us coming very late. We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful stay and regretted not staying longer. The villa is immaculate, spacious and quite traditional. The stone build kept the villa cool. Kitchen is well equipped, huge and we used it often. It is the grounds that really made this place special. They are extensive, extremely well maintained and completely secluded, with many areas to sit and relax! There was a mini football pitch, swimming pool and other facilities that were used often by our kids. Just stunning! Only thing a missing is a proper outdoor BBQ area but I'm only nit-picking here as a small bbq was available. Hugo made sure we were well looked after and was always within reach to provide helpful information and plan visits. I would recommend a car as there are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. Really recommend this place and thanks again to Hugo and his family for making our stay special!

Massive house with swimming pool and beautiful huge gardens. We also enjoyed to see the peacock, goose and ducks in the back yard. The children pretty much enjoyed staying here and adults were busing at cooking and relaxed in the garden. Highly recommend!
