To be honest we didn’t enjoy anything about the property because we weren’t given a chance. Due to a misunderstanding on our part, we booked a two bedroom villa and didn’t notice the head count on the booking rig options. We were two adults and two teenagers(age 16). When we communicated that to the owners and realized that there had been a misunderstanding we promptly said we would pay the remaining value since there seemed to be room in our accommodation for 4 people. The owners were inflexible and xenophobic, stating that they would cancel our stay and return our money and stating that: “it’s always the same story with the Portuguese”. We tried to reason with them, since we had come all the way from Lisbon and the kids were coming from even further away by bus but to no avail. We ended up having to turn back around. Luckily we found a new place with hosts that really put the emphasis on hosting people.

Such a wonderful place to stay. Owners were very kind and welcoming. Very comfy bed; had fridge in a room, which is always a plus; water, coffee was available too- beautiful touch. Loved games room - table pool, other games available; room tastefully designed. Nice outdoor pool. Overall, such a lovely place and stay - definitely to recommend. Thank you very much!
