This little cottage is in the most beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The village is spectacular. We felt so privileged to be able to ‘live’ in such a special place for a few days. The terrace and the views are wonderful. Lots of lovely restaurants in the village. The local lake beach is fab with a great restaurant and lots of water activities. The communication from the hosts was friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Beautifully renovated and a very peaceful location
The staff were very friendly and breakfast was enjoyed on the terrace. We have stayed here many times and hopefully will do so again

Clean and newly furnished room and bathroom. Room had a small fridge that was handy. We had a great time around Monsaraz, there was a festival at the castle, and horse riding along and into the lake.

The room was very comfortable and the staff was always extremely nice and attentive. The convent itself is beautiful, and it's very close (by car) to Monsaraz and the Alqueva lake beach. There are many restaurants in the area, and we got great recommendations from the staff.

Great location inside the city walls right next to the castle. There was a super outside terrace with a hot tub under an orange tree; a great place to relax after a busy day out! The kitchen, dining, living room was very spacious and very well-appointed with everything one could want. The bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean with plenty of storage space.

Absolutely stunning property in the middle of a fairytale medieval village. Our two bedroom apartment has everything we needed including the incredible terrace with view of the amazing countryside and sunsets. Probably the best location in the town to view the sunset ! Charming guest house well located right in the heart of Monsaraz with a small pool and a comfortable patio and terrace for relaxing. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The host, Carlos, was extremely helpful and friendly and provided us with lots of information and lots of insights into the area. Breakfast was delicious and included a variety of home made jams, pastries and cakes. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Very nice place, made with love and attention to details. Amazing area, you can walk for hours listening to sounds of nature. Tasty food in the restaurant and nice little winery on site.
