We had a lovely time at Casinhas de Vilar! There was cake and wine to welcome us. Everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the swimmingpools and barbecue a lot. Also very comfortable to have two bathrooms.

Very close to railway station on the legendary Douro line - the river is reached in just 10 mins. This means are car not necessary (though warning nearest supermarket is an uphill trek!) The house is in a beautiful setting with the pool being the centrepiece. Appreciated the heating on the cold autumn evenings.
