We were Self Catering but the complimentary eggs from the owners free range chickens were very much appreciated. We were invited to join them for a typical Portuguese meal on two occasions. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The location was beautiful and at night you could hear nothing except the frogs in the pond. If you a looking for solitude to enjoy the sun and a pool then this is the place.

We enjoyed the fact that it was a very spacious and clean appartment. We loved the hammock. The host was very friendly and helpful. She even provided us with some sightseeing tips and flyer information. Location is very good with views of hills and valleys below. Facilities are very good and almost everything one would need for self catering are available. The rooms were spacious and had towels and linen laid out which were clean. The pool was clean and all the outdoor facilities are well laid out with plenty of seating for meals as well as relaxation. Outdoor games facilities were provided.
