We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel for several reasons. First, the location is isolated and incredibly peaceful, making it ideal for relaxation and disconnecting from the stress of daily life.
The spa area was another highlight, offering a sauna and Turkish bath, both well-maintained and equipped with changing facilities. The heated pool, with its connection to the outdoors, was fantastic and added a fun touch to the experience. I also appreciated that the hotel grows its own vegetables, which adds a personal and sustainable touch to the dining experience.
Additionally, there are multiple activities available not only at the hotel, but also in the nearby city for those who want to explore.
Finally, the staff was exceptionally empathetic and helpful, always willing to assist with a smile. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Breakfast was good but after 10 days was a bit monotonous. Delivered at 9 am each day which was good time for us. Lovely location. Nice house, nicely decorated, comfy beds. Two large pools , sun loungers were allocated to each rental house which was a great idea.Would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect location to explore the historic centre of Elvas. Modern apartment with two bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, decent bathroom & view over part of the city out of one of the bedrooms. Free parking was available on the street/squares within short walking distance. The host provided clear instructions on where to find parking and meet her to pick up the keys.

The property is in a rural location away from the town. We had the one bedroom chalet which was basic but comfortable. The swimming pools are small but adequate. The animals are an added benefit. We were able to watch the chickens, birds and Guinea pigs for our seating area. Apart from the lady who met us on arrival to give us the keys for the chalet and gate we didn’t interact with my other staff.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The houses are just absolutely great. Super cosy, a lot of kitchen utilities, wood for fireplace, lots of towels, super well staffed. Also, the check-in was great, automated and instructions sent beforehand. They were super friendly and let us charge our EV on the property.
The view is amazing, it's right over the river.
