Everything! This was one of our favourite places on a months trip in the region. The communication with hosts was great from the moment we booked. The drive from Pinhao up through the vineyards to the village was delightful and the welcome gift of homemade almonds tarts and some of the hosts own port was very welcome and delicious!! The apartment itself was spotless and very well equipped for any length of stay. As we had a two year old with us we dined at the apartment every evening and the kitchen was better equipped than our own!! Lovely balcony with views of the valley and to listen to the sounds of peaceful village life. Our hosts welcomed us to their own home to use their wonderful pool and terrace. They provided lots of toys for our toddler who took a real shine to the place. A tour of the vineyard was such a treat also. Hrougjly recommend this place. No shops in the village so the hosts tell you to come prepared so come stocked up to enjoy a wonderful stay!

We loved the location among the vines right on the river but with an easy walk to town. The house is a beautiful comfortable home away from home and we especially enjoyed the variety of outdoor living areas. Dined outdoors every night. Would love to have stayed longer. Incredible home and great location. Helena was such a warm and welcoming hostess. She provided a wonderful breakfast and was more than willing to communicate with us through google translate. We really enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and big screen tv when not out exploring the Douro valley or the great local restaurants. We would highly recommend you stay here when in Pinhão with your family.
